The Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Foundation, Inc., was incorporated in 1980 to identify, solicit, and manage alternative sources of funding to support the commitment to excellence of Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.  In the past 11 years, the Foundation has undergone a major reorganization.  The Foundation has experienced tremendous growth, from assets of under $200,000 in 1996 to approximately $3,500,000 in 2007. The Foundation solicits alternative financial support for students through scholarships, special awards, housing, and emergency loans.  The Foundation supports and encourages new developments in technical education including staff development activities.  The Foundation is dedicated to improving and enhancing the educational experiences of all students.  The Foundation obtains equipment, supplies, and resources to assist the College in its endeavor to provide the highest educational opportunities possible.
