Human Services

Promoting positive change and assisting people in need is a rewarding and satisfying career. The Human Services Associate program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to obtain entry-level positions in a variety of human service agencies. The program includes a combination of general education courses, in-depth study of human service topics, and two semesters of on-site field experience in community placements under the supervision of working professionals.

Career Opportunities
Graduates from the Human Services Associate program are employed in county human service agencies, community-based organizations, residential treatment programs, schools, inpatient facilities, and other settings that assist people in need.
