Audience handouts, speaker notes and outlines will be developed along with an electronic slide show presentation. The student will learn to create, edit, and format presentations. Basic experience with Windows is assumed.

This course is an introduction to Microsoft Word 2007. In the four assigned units, you will learn to create, edit, and format documents. Basic experience with Windows is assumed. At the conclusion of the course, the student will be able to: create documents with Microsoft Word 2007; edit documents; use Word's proofing tools to proofread documents; and format documents.

This course presents intermediate Microsoft Word concepts. The student will learn to format documents: add graphics to documents and manipulate them; and gain knowledge of Word’s mail merge feature.

Students will learn intermediate to advanced features of Microsoft Access. In the four units assigned, the student will work with multi-table, summary, and cross-tab queries. Calculated fields will be introduced as well as PivotTables and PivotCharts. Students will modify forms, import./export data and repair a database. Basic experience with Windows is assumed.

Students enrolled in this course will key alphabetic, numeric, and symbol keys by touch with correct technique. Create and edit business correspondence including interoffice memorandums, block letters, modified block letters, envelopes and labels. Prepare unbound and left-bound reports, including title and reference pages, page numbers, headers/footers, long quotations, and bullets/numbering. Create, format, and edit basic tables. Edit business documents efficiently and effectively. Create attractive newsletters. Build keyboarding speed and improve keyboarding accuracy.
