Once you acquire or are working on your career skills, the SWTC Career/Job Center coordinates and facilitates your transition from college to work in an effective and satisfying manner. Our staff assists students and alumni to achieve career objectives by providing access to a full range of employment opportunities and helping clients to present themselves effectively as job candidates by assisting with your resume and cover letter preparation. If you feel you need to work on your interviewing techniques, we can help with that, too.

TechConnect Job Postings
TechConnect is an electronic employment information system used by all Wisconsin Technical Colleges for employers to post job opportunities for the students and graduates. Southwest Tech students may view TechConnect on any campus computer without a password. Students and alumni must register with the Career Center for off-campus access to view this site. Prior to graduation and after you graduate, you will receive e-mails about jobs pertaining to your program choice.
Job Center of Wisconsin Job Postings
The State of Wisconsin Job Service is housed in the SWTC Career/Job Center and furnishes state computers to use the state’s websites to assist with career exploration, labor market information, resume development using WinWay Resume, and State Civil Service Typing tests.
