Are You On Schedule?
Hello Everyone  (11/14/08)

We now have only about 4 1/2 weeks remaining in this semester.  By now you should have completed Units 1 and  2 (Sections 1-5 and the Unit 1 Test and Section 6-12 and the Unit 2 Test) and you should be working in Unit 3.   If you are beyond that point, congratulations and keep up the good work.  If you aren't quite that far, there is still time left but you have to pick up the pace.  The rest of the semester will go very fast.  Remember, the last day to turn in work is December 16.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

John

Passwords

Those of you that have turned in work know that I am giving out passwords one at a time.  In other words, I won't give out the password for Quiz 2 until you turn in Quiz 1.  I am generally able to respond to your completed assignments within one working day.  So, if you turn in a quiz on Tuesday you will have the results and the next password on Wednesday.  If you turn in a quiz on the weekend (Saturday, or Sunday) you will have the results and the next password on Monday.

You have 16 quizzes and 3 tests for a total of 19 password protected assignments.  This means that if you are doing one assignment (quiz or test) per day. It will take 19 working days to get everything done.  That is almost 4 weeks.  (That doesn't include the Internet Assignments and the Report.)  Make sure you budget your time accordingly.

Completed Work Reminder

When you complete a section or unit take the quiz or test and get it into me as soon as possible so I can get it corrected and get the results back to you.  Don't put them off and work ahead of where you are testing.  This way, if you made any mistakes or are having any trouble we can fix it before you go on to the next section.

The best way to get your completed work back to me is via email.  Just type your answers in an email.  Make sure you write something on the subject line or my spam filter will delete it.  This will save you some postage and make for quicker turn around time.  Make sure you include Your Name, the Quiz or Test Number and the Question Number for each answer.  (You don't need to retype the questions but please make sure I can identify which answers go to which questions.)

You can also mail or fax your answers (contact info is below).  If you do, make sure you include my name on the envelope or the fax so it gets routed to me.
