The Math/Science Resource Center is designed to organize much of the
information that is traditionally presented by Math/Science Center Staff.
The site is a compilation of materials. You will find printable tables of
math and science related data such as a table of measurement conversions
You will find printable step-by-step instructions for solving specific problems
like making metric conversions. There are interactive tutorials, such as
making recipe conversions, that are available to download. The tutorials
provide a more comprehensive look at a given math or science application.
There are also course materials for most of our Math and Science courses.
Take a look. There is something useful for everyone.
A great deal of the material on this site is stored as "pdf "
files. Converting files to the PDF format is a very common method of
making documents available online. This is the same format used by the IRS
for putting tax forms online. You do not have to buy any special
software to access pdf files. However, you may need to download a free
reader if you don't already have it.
Click the following link; Sample PDF file.
If you can access the file then you already have the necessary software.
If you can't access the file click the button below and follow the directions
to download a free copy of Acrobat Reader

This site and the materials were developed by Peter C. Esser and John W.
Pluemer, instructors in the Math / Science Center at SWTC. Let us know
your ideas for additional "Tables, Tutorials, or Tips". If we get enough
requests for a given topic we will put it on our "To-Do List". Don't
hesitate to leave a message if you have any math or science related questions or
if you just want to make a comment about the site. Thanks for the input.
Click the links below to e-mail Pete or John. Take a minute to sign our
Guest Book and get access
to some free stuff. We use the guest book to satisfy our curiosity as
to who is looking at our site. If you are curious as well, you can take a
look at a
Google Map of our Users.
