What Are Tutorials?

Tutorials are interactive lessons.  They explore a given topic in greater detail providing explanation, examples, and problems.  The tutorials were created using Microsoft PowerPoint.  If you have Microsoft PowerPoint then you can download and view the tutorials.  If not, you can download a free copy of Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.

How Do I Access a Tutorial?

1.  Download and Install a copy of PowerPoint Viewer. 
        - If you already have a copy of PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer, 
          you can skip to Step 2.
        - Click the PowerPoint icon above to start or click here.
        - Search for PowerPoint Viewer. 
        - You will be given instructions before you download.

2.  Download the Tutorial
        - Double-Click the Tutorial icon in the table below to start. 
        - After you double-click the tutorial should download and 
                start automatically.  (It may take a minute or two.)
        - The tutorial may run more reliably if you save it to disc
        - To save a tutorial to disc "Right-Click on the tutorial icon
                and choose "Save Target As"
                You will be asked to designate a location for the file.  
                    Remember where you saved it.
                Locate the file using Windows Explorer and 
                    double click on the file name to run it.

3.  Viewing a Tutorial
        -  If you opened the tutorial by double clicking on the icon
                The tutorial will open in your browser
                Right click on the tutorials and choose Full Screen
                Navigate with the forward and back arrow keys

        -  If you saved the tutorial to disc and opened it from there
                Using PowerPoint Viewer
                        The tutorial will start run in full screen mode
                        Navigate with the forward and back arrow keys

                Using PowerPoint
                        PowerPoint will open the tutorial in "Normal View"
                        Press the F5 key to switch to "Slide Show View"
                        Navigate with the forward and back arrow keys
