HR Certificate

The Human Resources Certificate prepares individuals for various human resources leadership roles in an organization. Courses cover basic HR concepts and provide opportunities to network with professionals to gain a better understanding of HR roles from various perspectives. Students will:

  • Apply concepts used for employee hiring, discipline, performance
  • Review employee performance and disciplinary procedures and concepts
  • Comply and apply federal and state employment laws
  • Identify and resolve employee conflicts
  • Solve problems and manage labor force issues
  • Review and apply principles of organizational ethics
