Randy Bacon: The Road I Call Home

January 19 @ 12:30 pm

Randy Bacon and his photography

Randy Bacon, photographer, filmmaker, humanitarian, and speaker, took the photos and tells the stories of the homeless featured in the exhibit, The Road I Call Home. He will be here to speak about the exhibit we are showcasing from January 17th – March 13th.

The exhibit presents portraits from the ongoing series The Road I Call Home featuring simple, direct, casual studio portraits of homeless individuals. These portraits emphasize the beauty, identity, and integrity of each person and is accompanied by a narrative, as told by the subject, sharing their personal story of homelessness. The goal of this project is to bring awareness to our homeless communities and convey a simple message according to the Artist – “That we’re all one-of-a-kind special people and every single one of us matters.”

His bio info can be found at www.randybacon.com/about.
