Tonight we celebrated the Pinning Ceremony for our LPN and RN graduatesโ€”and what a special night it was. Nursing has deep roots at Southwest Tech, and itโ€™s always an honor to recognize the students who carry that legacy forward with so much heart. This ceremony is more than a traditionโ€”itโ€™s a celebration of compassion, perseverance, and the calling to care for others. Huge thanks to our amazing faculty and staff for supporting these students every step of the way. And a special shoutout to their advisor, Pauline Wetter, for being such a steady and encouraging presence. We also had the joy of honoring this yearโ€™s Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students recipient, Bridget Horton. Bridget, your dedication and compassion truly embody what nursing is all about. I graduated (from Southwest Tech) as an LPN in 1978 & worked as a nurse for 38 years. Never once regretted my career choice!! ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿ’‰
