Upcoming graduation highlights college milestone

This year’s spring graduation ceremony at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College brings an added sense of celebration, as the college wraps up its 50th anniversary. Spring graduation for all programs will be held Saturday, May 19 in the Ag/Auto Center.
The schedule includes:
- Nurse Pinning Ceremony – 8:30 a.m.
- Nursing, Business, Management and General Studies – 10 a.m.
- Industry, Trades, and Agriculture – Noon
- Health, Education, and Public Safety – 2 p.m.
This year’s graduation speakers will be:
- Jamie Hinkle – Nurse Pinning Ceremony – 8:30 a.m.
- Friend of Nursing Education: Jean Hennessey
- Edgar Mendez – Graphic and Web Design – 10 a.m.
- Alumni speaker: Konnie Sadler
- Alton Brown Belcher – Electrical Power Distribution – Noon
- Alumni speaker: Greg Biba
- Cindy Schlehlein – Physical Therapist Assistant – 2 p.m.
- Alumni speaker: Sheriff Reg Gill
