Alumni Spotlight: Cory Raisbeck
Cory Raisbeck. 2002 Graduate. IT-Network Communication Specialist. Advisory Board Member.

Cory Raisbeck started his first business when he was sixteen years old.
“I was always entrepreneurial, so when I started looking at my post-secondary education options, I wanted to join a fast growing field. I also knew that with a good understanding of technology, I could do a lot of things,” Cory said.
He enrolled in the Network Communication Specialist program at Southwest Tech and found it fit with his hands-on learning style. Past work experience made Cory realize he could leverage the fields of information technology and manufacturing to better serve businesses. Cory now co-owns BoxLogix Automation, a company that designs material handling systems to increase logistic productivity and reduce overall operating costs for businesses. Cory proudly explains the business name as, “We design material handling systems to efficiently deliver boxes to logical places!”
To share his knowledge and experience, Cory also serves as an advisory board member for the Network Communication Specialist program and mock interview volunteer for the Career Center.
