Justin Tibbits grew up on a dairy/beef farm consisting of 70 dairy cows and around 250 beef cows that was run by his father and uncle. Justin knew he wanted to stay active in the agricultural industry and learn hands-on skills that he could take back to the farm, so he enrolled in the Dairy Herd Management program to broaden his knowledge of the dairy industry.
“The small class sizes made it possible to work with the instructor personally, yet hear other students’ views and input,” stated Justin. “The instructor was the best teacher I’d ever experienced in all my years of education. He related daily lessons to real life.”
Justin believes the Dairy Herd Management program helped broaden his vision, not only in the dairy industry, but also in all production agriculture.
“It showed me the opportunities and future I had in marketing livestock and running a successful business,” said Justin
