Library Collection
Our library collection supports the courses offered at Southwest Tech and currently has over 95,000 ebooks, 9,500 books, 3,700 audiovisual materials, and thousands of online journal subscriptions. Our online catalog allows you to locate our library materials from anywhere. Ebooks can be accessed anywhere you have an internet connection, printed books may be checked out for three weeks, audiovisuals and periodicals for one week, and reference books for one day. There are reserve materials available for use within the Knox Learning Center. Included in our collection are children books, leisure reading materials and popular films. We’ve recently added helpful tech tools like Reader Pens that read printed text out loud, Lingo Pens that feature a translating dictionary, and Smart Pens that record audio as well as capture written notes via infrared camera technology.
