Career Services has several classroom presentations to support faculty and students. All presentations are customizable based on the specific needs of your program.
Career Clothes Closet/Scrubs Closet
Are your students in need of a professional outfit to wear for an upcoming interview? Do you have students starting clinicals and in need of scrubs to wear? Career Services offers FREE professional clothing and scrubs in our Career Clothes/Scrubs Closet. Encourage your students to stop in Career Services to get the clothing they need. We have also partnered with the Foundation to provide $25 vouchers to the regional Bargain Nooks for students to obtain appropriate clothing.
Interviewing
- Mock Interviews: Career Services can assist in setting up mock interviews for students. Contact us to discuss how your students can practice and perfect their interview skills by interviewing with an employer in their field of study.
- Employer Interviews: Employers may interview students on-campus as they recruit for vacant positions. Career Services has 2 interview rooms that may be scheduled for this purpose.
- Informational Interviews: Career Services can assist students in setting up an informational interview with an industry professional.
Resumes, Cover Letters, Portfolios, and More!
Encourage students to submit resumes, cover letters, portfolios, etc. to Career Services for feedback and professional guidance. We also assist students with completing job applications!
