The Community Action and Public Safety Club also sponsors the Southwest Tech Shooting Team. Members of the Southwest Tech Shooting Team participate in a variety of educational and competitive pistol and rifle shooting events. Most events are hosted at the Southwest Tech firearms range in Fennimore. Membership is open to any Southwest Tech student who is legally eligible to possess a firearm. Membership Fees (fees vary) include range use, use of equipment and firearms, ammunition and certain associated expenses. All members of the coaching staff are current or former law enforcement officers and certified Wisconsin Department of Justice firearms instructors.
